In the fall of 2016, US pre election mania had taken over social media. That's when Student Flights and TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris came together to create the tactical radio campaign US President. To promote youth travel to the United States, TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris decided they needed to go one step further in order to join the conversation where it was happening – online.
The sharable, social media spot imagined the worst possible election outcome, painting a bleak picture of what the US would be like in a specific post election scenario. Given the unpredictability of world events, the spot reminded the South African market that it’s wise to travel sooner rather than later.
