"Skins of Peace"
Current political tensions have led to undue mistreatment and discrimination towards Muslims and Arabs, with common mischaracterizations labelling them "terrorists", claiming Islam to be a religion that preaches hate. So TBWA\RAAD and Amnesty International New York came up with an idea that aims to fight this misconception. Using international passports as the medium, they decided to send a message of tolerance and peace through design.
Introducing "Skins of Peace".
The "Skins of Peace" campaign saw a collection of passport covers designed to showcase messages inspired by The Quran, the holy book of Islam. Written in English, the passport covers featured gorgeous artwork, inviting designers from all over the world, no matter their background or religion, to participate.
All proceeds went to Amnesty International USA's work to combat Islamophobia and fight for the rights of refugees to rebuild their lives safely.
